Paying for parking by phone

Wow what a great idea i thought. Nowadays due to BACS most of us don't carry cash and parking every day in the car park meant getting a tenner out the bank each morning, buying some random cheap item and asking for the change to be in pound coins.

So thought this morning as didn't have time to stop at the shop would try this new service.....OMG what a palarva! Took me about 10 mins to key in the car reg and card details and cost nearly £3 in credit.....only to find they send texts to say your ticket is near expirey even if your car isnt in the car park, and charge you for it!

What a waste of time and money.....back to the cash machine and shop in the morning me thinks!

Our local car parks have all gone onto pay and display which i hate, how do you know how long you are gonna be? I much prefer the pay before you leave option, but i think they use it as an extra form of revenue as there are now an army of attendants gawping at everyones motor checking for tickets.

As for the cash thing, you can use your debit card in ours

I go to Romsey most days to the bank, i'm only there for 5 minutes and it's 70p to park each time so i just dump the car on a double yellow outside the bank, the local warden is too busy checking tickets in the car park so i get away with it.
