I've made his life so easy i really have and somehow im the bad one.

I bought a vodafone phne cause its his network n calls are cheaper if i have that network....I pay the monthly charge to get free calls to his mobile.

I let him stay here when he visits as he cant afford a bnb....

He mays no child support

I buy crimbo/biffday pressies and card and only take a fraction of cost from him for it.

He see's them as and when he can be arsed....

I let him have girls in holidays asked him not to allow girls to meet his gf finds out last night he drove girls to her flat left them in car while he went up to hers to get a bbq.....

But yet im the bad one !!!!!

Have i just been way too soft in all of this all in the name of my girls having their dad in their lives ???

i know just how you feel, but ive personally decided to let my ex fuck up his relationship with his kids all by himself, its been bloody hard, but why should i continue making excuses for him any longer, why should i be the one bailing him out, my kids are 11, 9, 8 and 6(ive a 3yr old and a 4mth old with my current partner also) and they have actually started to see him for the arsehole he is.....they know how much myself and my partner love them, just make sure they know that no matter what a dick thir dad is, you will always love and be there for them

I told my ex tonight that i will no longer cover up his fuck ups, said the girls will know what a twat he his and it will be all his doing not mine said why should i cover his ass anymore.

It just hurts so much when u would lay down your life for for kids and their dad cant even so much as phone them

yup, cant understand why people can be arses when it comes to kids, i cant bare to see em hurt, yet he doesnt seem arsed at all

Oh hun, sorry to hear all the crap you are going thru. Its not easy.

You are doing things the best way now, just let him screw things up and dont carr the can and help him the way you are. He sounds like he will screw up too so just tr and sit tight and be ready with the box of hankies when he upsets your kids. Easier said than done and i am sure you dont do it, but try not to slag him off when kids are about. If he does that about you then grin and bear it cos the kids pick things up really quickly and will see him for what he is.

I dont bad mouth him in front of them as i dont want their lil' ears to hear it, they dint need to know how i feel about him.

I've cuddled my oldest thru many i want my daddy moments and im sure there are going to be many many more its hard but as her mummy im gonna be there no matter what unlike her dad

This is a subject that's fairly close to my heart, we hear all the time about poor hard done by fathers struggling to get access to see their children but i'm willing to bet for every wally chained to some railings somewhere in a batman outfit there's at least ten complete and utterly useless heartbreaking cunts who father kids and fuck off into the distance only to pop back once in a while with loads of hollow promises which is just not fair on the kids involved.

It's natural to want to protect your children from that however being the great mum that you obviously are you know it's for your children to make up their own minds when they're old enough to form a balanced opinion of their "father" and see him for what he really is.

I hate him for the way he is being and the way he behaves but Its not my girls faultthey are the innocnets in this, i push for him to be in their lives more because i want them to have their dad in their lives, right now i think they are better off without him but i wont stop contact because its not my right to do that...I have no right what so ever to take their dad away from them but i will not cover up his fuck ups anymore i will just be there ready to kiss away their tears.

I will never let how i feel about him influence my girls at all because its wrong, if i duscuss his behaviour with my bezzy mate or mum i do it out of their lil ear shot.

The sad thing is if he wasnt being a class a cunt then we could get on really well but he has to blame me for all his wrong doings which is a cop out.

I was visiting Fairy recently and we were having a deep convo on this subject...She has it hard with her ex and wishes he would just drop off the face o the earth and i have the worry that my lads dad will just turn up after 10 years of no contact and decide he now wants it.
I have it easy i suppose as he has never had anything to do with them,he tried it on about 10 years ago and decided he wanted them for weekends,he hadnt seen them for about 11 months and there was noway i was sending my babies to someone they didnt know cause thats all they were babies,and i offered him contact but it wasnt good enough and he couldnt be arsed turning up.They are at an age where they have started asking questions,well 1 has the other never has,i just dont know really what to say,he wasnt the nicest of blokes and there was alot of stuff that happened.
And my more recent ex well thats another story he is just a pathetic wanker lol

my ex bought my lad a pair of new footie boots when he started high school, i was gobsmacked, first thing hes ever bought him in 11 yrs! i sometimes think of contacting the csa myself, especially as i know he has just got a good job, and lives with his mother = cheap rent, but at least i can say everything they are and everything they have got ive done myself............. binty, if he has promised you this money, dont let him get away with it!

CSA wont touch him..... for years he's done cash in hand told them he lived in a caravan in a field n stole to get by so i got a letter sayin as he earns less then £5 a week im not getting a thing from him.

On phone today he reakons 2mora he gonna put £90 in my bank 2mora..... i dont believe him.
