| I fecking hate teenagers! They are rude, arrogant and have the social skills of a two year old. My children are better behaved than the little gits i teach.
(had the class from hell for 6 hours!)
Rant over....now where's that wine?

| Well done Woz for coming out lol.
I have to agree with you. This girl in my class from hell. She talks like that oh i dont know comedian who took the mickey out of teenagers...lauren i think they called her, and has such an attitude. If i dared speak to anyone the way she does, i would never be employed. She doesnt want to be on the course and only comes cos she gets EMA and disrupts the whole class. We had a huge row on mobiles cos she thinks she has a right to use her mobile in class and i threatened to confiscate the thing for a week. She eventually shut up and backed down but got thrown out the class cos she wanted to leave at 250pm and i said she couldnt go til 3pm and she shouted at me. Once outside the riot act was read and she has been warned that further disruptions will mean stage 2........grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
What happened to manners and respect?

| This lad is a selfish little cunt, he comes and goes when he wants, he's been excluded from two schools and now the lea want nothing to do with him so he does some naughty boys mechanics crap two times a week at college and that's it! he's only 15 i can't believe the lea can just wash their hands of him.
He's so rude to his mum, he swears at her all the time, brings friends home for sleepovers without even asking her, and steals from her and his siblings. Angela blames herself and her ex husband but my view is he's just a wrongun who hopefully one day will come good.
When i first met her he was ruling the house but i've gradually encouraged her to stand up to him and set some ground rules and never ever give in to any of his demands or bad behaviour but all this seems to do is make him worse. He has zero respect for his dad either and refers to him as a twat he's said a couple of times warren's more of a dad to me but i've made it perfectly clear IF i was ever to live with her his life being made a permanant misery would be my number one priority and if he was ever to dis his mother infront of me he'd get a slap.

| Good point bint but he has a 14 yr old brother, a 10 yr old sister and a 6 yr old sister and all three of them are wonderfull, respectful hardworking kids, like i said he's just a wrongun. I dont care how hormonal a kid gets your mum and dad deserve respect. I was a little sod when i was young but i had respect for my parents. My kids would never in a million years back chat any adult. | |

I would not tolerate my girls swearing at me or disrespecting me at all.... no way... not going to happen.

| something has triggered him off, maybe the friends he's with, maybe he was hit harder than the rest by his parents split or maybe he was born to be a little shit........either way, a good talking to and spending some one on one time with him may help??? | |

| He gets loads of one on one time, because he's such a little shit the focus (positive and negative) is always on him to the detrement of his well behaved siblings which is sad but they seem ok with it, funny things is he's always bleeting on about how unfair everything is and how his brother gets more than him blah blah blah but in fact it's the other way around.
She has'nt given up on him but she's hoping he'll move out when he's 16, she said the other day that she loves him but she does'nt like him.

| So he gets alot of his mums attention even for all the negative things ?
Cannot you not chat to him Wozber... man to man and all that ??
My bro is a vile shit, vile to his gf etc but i blame that soley on my parents as he is the only boy he has had everything, always got what he wanted regardless of his behaviour. He got away with murder has no repect for anyone or anything but had he been treated as us girls he would behave diferntly
Surley by ur lady giving him more then the others be it attention or material objects is just adding fuel to the fire ??

| He has has to get more attention because he causes so much aggro, police calling round, not going to college, stealing stuff, constantly arguing with his mum over realy trivial things etc etc etc he brings so much negative attention on himself then when things are good for week or so she gives him lots of positive encouragement as you would, the upshot is he gets most of the attention.
He brought some mates back for a stopover a couple of weeks ago without asking then when his mum told him he had to ask them all to leave he got really abusive saying stuff like if they go so do i and i'll report you to social services for throwing me out (she was asking his mates to leave not him) and he said he was'nt going to pay her back 20 quid he owed her, yes that's right he actually thought he could use money to threaten his mum...as if she'd be bothered about a poxy 20 quid!
I told her over the phone to throw him out for the night and bolt the door which she did and he came back in the morning with his tail between his legs, she's learning slowly to stop pandering to the little shit and start calling his bluff which seems to be helping cos then he has nothing left in his armoury.

| I take it he knows how to play his mum big time then Woz & hopefully with your input seeing as you're sorta an outsider looking in then the son will learn his mum is in control not him. | |

| As you all know, my sisters wayward son has been staying with me. We have had a few spats (but this was with my aupair) and he has shown me respect. The social worker came over last week and he kicked off in front of him so we had a chat about communication skills and respect. Today i get a call from his yooth offender worker to say Martin had been rude and refused to cooperate which means i have had now had to use my spare time and set up meetings to try and save his arse from Juvi prison.
How do you teach a 13 year old to be respectful? He has learnt this behaviour from his parents and i wanna know how to undo it? I knew it would be tuff habing him here and dealing with the issues he presents but sometimes you just wanna bang your head against a brick wall.
